Fog-B-Gone
I had a few questions about the Sturgeon Bay Pierhead Light photo that I posted on Facebook. I mentioned in the comment on the photo that I’d used the new “Dehaze” feature/slider in the most recent version of Lightroom CC 2015. Here’s the before and after:

As you can see, the results are pretty amazing. The “before” image is right out of the camera. The only thing I did to the “after” shot was move the “Dehaze” slider in the Develop Module all the way to the right (+100).
The photo does have more grain and artifacts, and the colors are a little overdone and false, but almost all of the fog from the scene has been removed! Amazing. What do you think? Have you had the chance to use this yet? Please let me know in the comments below!
