I headed up to Two Harbors to shoot the lighting of the Split Rock Lighthouse on November 10, 2015. This popular annual event commemorates the sinking of the freighter Edmund Fitzgerald and the loss of her 29 crew members on November 10, 1975. This was the 40th Anniversary of the sinking. It was quite a beautiful sight to see the lights on in the lighthouse, and watch the beacon sweep over the landscape.
